Rob is the author of “The Weekend Briefing.” Launched in 2008 as a resource to the development directors of the Cristo Rey Network of schools, the Briefing is now emailed every Sunday night to 1,300 subscribers throughout the United States, and in Canada, Great Britain and Australia. It combines fundraising best practice with an inspiring message that resonates with senior professionals and new fundraisers alike.
With clients throughout the Midwest, Rob’s consulting practice specializes in assisting institutions grow their major gifts fundraising, coaching development officers and helping to build strong, supportive teams. Rob has taught the CFRE Certification Review course for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Chicago Chapter, the Chapter’s “First Course in Fundraising and has been a speaker for virtually every major fundraising organization.
Rob created the strategy for the first “Campaign for St. Ignatius,” instituted the grateful patient fundraising program at Loyola University Medical Center, has personally managed three successful capital campaigns and raised multiple seven-figure gifts. His development experience includes service to educational, health, social service and religious organizations.
